As passionate cyclists and pump track builders, we gained experience designing and constructing dirt&asphalt tracks before turning our focus to modular pump tracks.
Historically, dirt was the primary material for building pump tracks. This method remains the most prevalent and cost-effective approach globally. However, dirt pump tracks have a significant drawback: they require frequent maintenance as weather and usage quickly cause erosion and deformation, altering the original design.
Wood was also utilized for pump track construction. Unfortunately, when exposed to rain and other weather conditions, wooden surfaces rapidly become slippery and hazardous, degrading usability.
While concrete and asphalt offer durable solutions, their high construction costs are often prohibitive. After extensive experimentation with various materials, we developed our plastic modular pumptrack system, engineered to deliver multiple advantages.
